Targetologist Marketing Dashboard is a private reporting tool designed to consolidate advertising performance data, leads, sales, revenue, and profit metrics in one place.
The dashboard helps marketing specialists and clients understand how advertising spend connects with business results.
## What the Dashboard Does
The dashboard can be used to:
- Import advertising performance data
- Track spend, impressions, clicks, and conversions
- Combine ad data with leads and sales results
- Analyze campaign performance
- Monitor revenue and profit attribution
- Compare marketing channels
- Create project-level reporting views
- Share reporting access with selected users
## Supported Data Sources
The dashboard is designed to support advertising and business result data from sources such as:
- Google Ads
- Meta Ads
- Microsoft Ads / Bing
- TikTok Ads
- LinkedIn Ads
- CRM systems
- CSV uploads
- External automation workflows
## Google Ads API Integration
The Google Ads API integration is used for read-only reporting.
The integration retrieves campaign-level performance metrics such as:
- Date
- Campaign ID
- Campaign name
- Cost
- Impressions
- Clicks
- Conversions
The dashboard does not use the Google Ads API to create, edit, pause, delete, or manage campaigns, ads, keywords, budgets, billing settings, users, or account access.
## How Data Is Used
Imported advertising data is normalized and stored in project-specific reporting tables. It is then used to display dashboard metrics such as:
- Spend
- Impressions
- Clicks
- Leads
- Sales
- Revenue
- Profit
- Cost per lead
- Return on ad spend
- Campaign performance
## User Access
Access is controlled at the project level.
Available roles may include:
- Owner
- Editor
- Viewer
This allows agencies, contractors, and clients to work with the same reporting project while limiting access according to role.
## Automation
The dashboard supports automated data import through project-level external import keys. These keys allow authorized automation workflows to send normalized advertising data into a specific project.
External import keys are limited to data import and do not provide access to project deletion, user management, invite management, or other administrative features.
## Why It Was Built
Manual reporting is time-consuming and error-prone. The dashboard was built to reduce manual CSV handling, improve reporting consistency, and help marketing teams make better decisions based on data.
## What the Dashboard Does Not Do
The dashboard does not:
- Manage advertising campaigns
- Create ads
- Edit budgets
- Change billing settings
- Manage user access inside advertising platforms
- Manage remarketing lists
- Perform app conversion tracking
It is a reporting and analytics tool.
